This series of 36 giclées, Homage to New Mexico, is based on my very personal relationship with this state. There is no “logic” in the selection of subject matter – I chose it as it appeared in the moment. Some, as “Hunt Newkirk” and “Garrett Got Billy”, came from very distant memories. Some, as “Dukes Done It”, include the present. Some, such as “Solitude Bequeaths Us”, “Taos Forever”, and “Sin Agua No Hay Vida”, are timeless.
