I created this series of 56 pen and ink drawings in Dixon, NM and El Bolson, Argentina in 2014-2015. The themes deal with common and not-so common human issues and conditions. They are based on either direct personal experiences, or life situations which were/are particularly poignant to me. They were a lot of fun and enormously demanding to execute for it was the first time that I married a series of this length with poems. It also brought up a question which has prompted specific answers – “How to extend the works into a participation event?” – a question that has spurred several other series and projects that carry into education, communication, psychology, and the healing arts.
