These works are prints from a series of 52 pen and ink drawings I created in New Mexico in 2000. They depict numerous themes from the mundane to the esoteric, and have a cartoon-like flavor that adds lightness and entertainment to subjects often considered ponderous. Doing the work was a lot of fun but also very demanding in terms of conceptualization and execution (they were done almost entirely with dots). These were self-published as the book, Common Threads, in which the titles of the drawings have been translated into Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Japanese.
The book, Common Threads, and Giclee Prints in two sizes are available for purchase.
