The full title of this 77 piece pen and ink project created in 2004 in Dixon, New Mexico, is “At the Fine Men’s Apparel Store, Carlsbad, New Mexico, 1944”. The inspiration for the setting came from my teen-age experience as a novice salesperson/janitor in a clothing store in Carlsbad, New Mexico, in 1944. The inspiration for the subjects have been gathered throughout my life. The drawings either depict a parody on personality types or on some of the happenings in the business/corporate world.
Giclee Prints in two sizes are available for purchase.
